Consultation – Dining Room

A simple dining room makeover with no major purchases (just one lamp and some decorative fillers for the centerpiece bowl). We utilized the hidden crystal collection, the hibernating good china, and decorations pulled out from cupboards and cabinets to majorly update this formal dining room. Now these special pieces can be viewed daily!

The wall this buffet table was originally located was actually in a walkway, making it something you had to walk around. By moving it to this wall – we not only eliminated a blockade, but we increased the depth of the room and added visual interest to this wall and pulling focus to these gorgeous prints.

Shifting the large floral display to the side helped break up wood against wood tone while also lightenting the table and allowing focus to be on the room instead of the centerpiece.

The crystal and china highlighted here was all tucked away in cabinets – now these super special family treasures are enjoyed on a daily basis.

This lamp and floral arrangement were too high for this area. The lamp was re-used within the room on the buffet table and a new lamp was purchased that was the right size.

This cabinet was also re-worked as part of the full Dining Room makeover. We chose to only showcase white and black china in the cabinet to remain true to the color scheme and to keep it cohesive.
